Facility Operator

This Facility Operator is responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and ensuring proper working conditions and operation of disposals within assigned area. This position reports to the Operations Manager out of our Joaquin, Texas office.

• Performs equipment maintenance and repairs, including but not limited to replacing leaking fittings, valves, and repairing hoses.
• Monitors tank level, pressures, tank thieving, and tank gauging, while troubleshooting equipment on location including but not limited to electrical, automation, and mechanical systems.
• Replaces and cleans filters.
• Cleans area debris, removes plants, and pressure washes etc.
• Complies with all Company policies and procedures, including but not limited to KPA, JSAs, Training, Incident Reports, and Safety Observations.
• Submits own timesheets timely and accurately for approval and adheres to schedule as agreed upon on the date of hire, and adjusted work schedules thereafter based on company needs.

• High School Diploma or comparable such as GED
• Must be 18 years of age
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Self‑motivated and strong time‑management skills
• Must have a valid driver's license and be deemed insurable by the Company's insurance provider throughout employment to be able to drive a Company vehicle.

• Able to effectively communicate with all levels of organization.

• 1 year minimum in Oil and gas industry preferred
• Positive and will—do attitude

• Must be able to use their hands to handle, feel, reach with hands and arms, and fine manipulation.
• Must be able to talk and hear.
• Must be able to drive and sit for extended periods of time.
• Individual will be required to be on call at times to attend field emergencies as needed after hours.
• Must be able to stand, bend, walk, kneel, climb stairs and lift over 50lbs for continuous hours.
• Must be able to withstand extreme weather conditions, including but not limited to extreme hot, cold, wind, rain, dust, snow, sleet, ice, etc. as well as wet/humid and/dry/arid conditions.
• Frequently required to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to prevent exposure to hazardous materials.
• May be exposed to H2S and other industry related chemicals.
• May be subject to working in low‑lit areas from time to time.
• May be exposed to loud noises, occupational hazards, and/or other outdoor elements.
• May encounter wildlife.
