Head of Maintenance

Paint Creek ISD is searching for a motivated individual who can lead and oversee district maintenance to ensure that all school facilities are maintained in excellent condition, providing a safe, clean, and functional environment for educational purposes. The position commences in August on a 4‑day work week.

• Ensure district facilities are functional, safe, clean, and well‑maintained.
• Develop and maintain procedures for building maintenance and operations.
• Prepare plans and specifications for repairs and improvements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, policies, and safety protocols.
• Manage inventory, control equipment and supplies.

• Valid Texas driver’s license required;
  Commercial Driver’s License preferred.
• Knowledge of construction, school plant maintenance, and custodial operations.
• Ability to inspect facilities, maintain the grounds, and perform minor repairs.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Frequent walking, climbing, lifting, and exposure to extreme temperatures, dust, and noise.

4‑day school week; flexible hours.
