Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Floating Housekeeper to support housekeeping operations across multiple property locations. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards at assigned properties while providing flexible coverage based on operational needs. The ideal candidate is adaptable, self-motivated, and comfortable traveling between locations on a regular basis.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general housekeeping duties including cleaning apartments, common areas, offices, restrooms, and amenity spaces.
  • Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, sanitize, and remove trash throughout assigned properties.
  • Prepare vacant units for new residents, including deep cleaning and turnover services.
  • Restock cleaning supplies and notify management of inventory needs.
  • Ensure all assigned areas meet company cleanliness and presentation standards.
  • Travel between multiple property locations as needed to provide housekeeping coverage and support.
  • Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or damages to management promptly.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Support special cleaning projects and seasonal tasks as assigned.
  • Maintain professionalism and provide excellent customer service to residents, guests, and team members.
Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications
  • Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between assigned locations required.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record may be required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, standing, walking, and climbing stairs throughout the workday.
  • Flexible schedule and ability to adapt to changing property needs.
Working Conditions
  • Bending, lifting, climbing, pushing, pulling, kneeling, sitting stand, walk, kneel, stoop, squat, pull, push, climb, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, and see and standing (occasionally) for long periods of time.
  • Must demonstrate manual dexterity and be able to use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • React quickly using hands, fingers, or feet.
  • Must be able to comprehend and follow written and oral instructions.
  • Must be able to complete tasks even with frequent interruptions.
  • Must be able to use discretion and independent judgment as needed.
  • Must be able to speak clearly on the phone and to fellow workers.
