• Location: Fort Hood, Texas
• Shift: Nighttime - 7:00pm through 12:30am

We’re hiring Custodians to help keep things clean and running smoothly. Never done this kind of work before? That’s totally fine – we’ll train you and make sure you feel confident every step of the way.

• Start your day by checking in with your supervisor and teammates to go over the cleaning plan and what needs to be done that day.
• Grab your cleaning supplies – mops, brooms, vacuums, disinfectants – and load up if you need to.
• When you get to your assigned area, you’ll get started by:
  • Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming the floors
  • Taking out the trash and putting in fresh bags
  • Cleaning restrooms, refilling supplies, and wiping down tables, chairs, doors, and more.
  • Dusting furniture, shelves, and vents.
  • Wiping windows, mirrors, and glass doors.
• Before finishing your shift, you’ll walk through the area one last time to make sure everything looks clean and neat.
• Finally, return your tools and supplies to the storage area and get ready for tomorrow.

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
• Repetitive motions such as mopping, sweeping, wiping, and scrubbing surfaces.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull cleaning equipment up to 25-30 pounds regularly.
• Navigation of stairs, ramps, or uneven flooring safely while carrying tools or supplies.
• Work primarily indoors in commercial buildings with varying temperature and lighting conditions.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, and solvents – training provided and PPE required.
• Possible exposure to dust, dirt, allergens, and other typical indoor environmental factors.
• May encounter biohazardous materials or bodily fluids – proper safety protocols and PPE in place.
• Working in confined or awkward spaces such as under sinks, behind furniture, or inside equipment areas may be required.
• Noise from vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and other machinery – hearing protection provided when necessary.
