Facilities Maintenance Technician

Location: Baytown

JSW Steel is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general building maintenance, including light plumbing, painting, and minor repairs.
• Handle routine upkeep tasks such as trash removal and basic cleaning of work areas.
• Perform minor landscaping and yard work as needed.
• Assist with basic carpentry tasks.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Work independently and with team members to complete assigned tasks.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance or related experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment (heat, cold, and outdoor conditions).
• Physically able to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Basic knowledge of general maintenance tasks such as light plumbing, painting, and minor repairs.
