Position Type Full Time

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Inspect and repair all buildings and structures in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner.
• Receive, prioritize, diagnose, plan and perform repairs. Assign and track progress of these repairs and the performance of the repairs made.
• Provide routine and repair facility maintenance and grounds maintenance to ensure safe, effective and proper performance.
• Develop, implement and conduct routine preventative maintenance schedules and identify potential issues.
• Inspect all structures and equipment to assess needed repairs, damages or maintenance needs to ensure safety and/or coordinate repairs.
• Respond promptly to any and all emergency maintenance issues to safely and properly correct the issue in a timely, cost-effective manner.
• Oversee, and perform all facets of groundskeeping within the Thunderbird Lodge and Spider Mountain grounds.
• Maintain clean, safe and presentable lodging, recreation and common areas for guests.

Skills and

Qualifications:

• Must possess knowledge skills, repair/maintenance and safe usage of power tools, equipment, grounds equipment, etc.
• Must possess problem-solving skills and hold the ability to diagnose issues, identify solutions and perform tasks to rectify the issues.
• Must possess organizational skills in order to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, manage scheduling, etc.

Physical Demands and

Working Conditions:

• Ability to work indoors and/or outdoors in potentially inclement weather conditions.
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push and/or pull objects up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, squat or lay in order to perform job responsibilities.

Education and Experience:

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license.
