Job Description
Responsibilities- Cleaning and Sanitation: Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, dusting furniture, cleaning windows, and sanitizing restrooms to maintain hygiene standards.
- Trash and Recycling Management: Emptying trash bins, washing containers, and attending to recycling procedures.
- Minor Maintenance: Replacing light bulbs, fixing leaky faucets, repairing broken doors or furniture, and performing basic upkeep of building systems.
- Groundskeeping: Mowing lawns, trimming trees and flowers, raking leaves, and keeping sidewalks clean.
- Safety and Security: Inspecting fire alarms, smoke detectors, and HVAC systems, securing doors, and sometimes opening or closing buildings.
- Event Support: Assisting with setting up facilities for meetings, classes, or events.
- Physical stamina and strength to handle long hours of standing, lifting, and repetitive tasks.
- Attention to detail and diligence to ensure thorough cleaning and maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety procedures, and equipment operation.
- Organizational skills to manage tasks efficiently and respond to emergencies.
