Measurement Technician

Responsibilities

• Maintain, install, test and repair all devices associated with measurement field operations processes and equipment.
• Calibrate and maintain Exxon Mobil measurement equipment, securing measurement samples and/or analysis, running tests and collecting data according to SOPs.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair measurement equipment.
• Witness the calibration of purchasers’ meters.
• Operate Exxon Mobil SCADA systems.
• Track required daily tasks and perform other duties assigned by the supervisor, including special projects.
• Monitor and track the preventive maintenance program for all sales and rotating equipment.

• High school diploma or equivalent certification required.
• Knowledgeable and has an understanding of basic oilfield production and/or measurement equipment with mechanical ability and experience preferred.
• 3.5 years of oil and gas experience, 2 years of measurement experience, or 1 year as a Lease Operator or equivalent experience preferred.
• Valid vehicle operator’s license with an insurable driving record required.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in hazardous environments and ability to use close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
• Adaptable to change, motivated, and a self‑starter who is open to new procedures, technologies, and equipment.
• Availability to be on call nights and/or holidays; unscheduled overtime may be required.
