Job DescriptionMaintains a clean, safe, and organized learning environment for students and staff. Follow routine cleaning procedures to maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness and efficiency of building operations.
Responsibilities- Daily sanitization of classrooms and restrooms
- Floor care
- Event setup
- Waste disposal
- Exterior grounds upkeep
- Building security
- Physical stamina and knowledge of safe chemical handling
- Ability to read and understand instructions for cleaning and safety procedures
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and lift heavy equipment
- Ability to properly handle cleaning supplies
- Ability to deep clean to prevent illness
- Knowledge of minor repairs
- Frequent walking, standing, climbing and heavy lifting and carrying
- Work outside and inside, on slippery or uneven surfaces and ladders
- Exposure to hot and cold temperatures, dust, toxic chemicals and materials
