Custodian

Crosbyton CISD is seeking a dependable and responsible custodian for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment throughout the school district's facilities. This position plays an important role in providing students, staff, and visitors with a well-maintained learning environment.

• Clean classrooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, cafeterias, and other assigned areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect surfaces.
• Empty trash and recycling containers.
• Restock restroom and custodial supplies.
• Set up and take down tables, chairs, and equipment for school events.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks and report repair needs.
• Assist with seasonal duties such as snow removal, mowing, or grounds maintenance, as assigned.
• Follow all district safety procedures and maintain proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Custodial or maintenance experience preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, standing, walking, and climbing.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
