Floor Technician - EVS

Full-Time M-F; 1pm-9:30pm

History:

Martin County Hospital District (MCHD) was organized in 1967 and has boundaries coterminous with Martin County, Texas. It is located in the heart of West Texas. Opened in 1949, the hospital was originally located near downtown Stanton. The facility served the community well for many years but was replaced with a state of the art 18 bed facility in 2012. The new facility is located on I20 and has been designated as a Critical Access Hospital.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

The EVS Floor Technician is responsible for performing the cleaning, buffing, and maintaining of the hospital, clinic, Home Health, and EMS floors. This individual will ensure that the Martin County facilities are clean and safe for our patients, employees, guests, and visitors. The EVS Floor Technician is required to meet all the standards sent forth by MCHD and CMS. The EVS Floor Technician will maintain a high level of customer service by practicing AIDET.

Requirements

Education:

High school diploma or GED. In lieu of a degree, additional work experience and/or trade school is acceptable.

Experience:

One (1) year experience in previous floor care for hard flooring and carpet preferred
