** Job Profile Summary
** Develops detailed maintenance job plans and work packages for pipeline, terminal, storage, plant, and related operational facilities. Reviews maintenance work requests and work orders for scope clarity, priority, asset information, safety considerations, labor requirements, materials, tools, equipment, permitting needs, and execution readiness. Supports effective maintenance scheduling by ensuring approved work is properly planned, resourced, and ready for safe and efficient execution.

Performs maintenance planning activities with limited supervision and exercises judgment in developing executable job plans for routine and moderately complex maintenance work. Works closely with Maintenance, Operations, Planning/Scheduling, Supply Chain, Engineering, Reliability, and contractor personnel to support preventive, corrective, regulatory, and condition-based maintenance activities. Maintains accurate planning data within work management systems and uses equipment history, field feedback, and established maintenance practices to improve job plan quality and maintenance execution effectiveness.
** Essential Functions and Responsibilities
****** Maintenance Scheduling and Coordination
***** Develop detailed maintenance job plans, including labor requirements, task steps, estimated durations, materials, tools, equipment, safety considerations, permitting needs, and execution constraints.
* Review work requests and work orders to verify scope clarity, priority, asset information, problem description, required resources, and planning readiness.
* Identify required materials, spare parts, specialty tools, equipment, contractor support, vendor services, and other requirements needed to execute maintenance work.
* Develop work packages that support safe, efficient, and repeatable execution of preventive, corrective, regulatory, and condition-based maintenance activities.
* Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Engineering, Reliability, and contractors to clarify work scope, resolve planning gaps, and confirm execution readiness before scheduling.
* Maintain job plans, task lists, PM records, equipment information, material requirements, and planning data within computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
* Track maintenance backlog status and support timely scheduling of approved maintenance work.
* Support scheduling by ensuring planned work is complete, properly scoped, resourced, and ready for safe and efficient execution.
** Work Management and Documentation
*** Build and maintain standardized job plans, work instructions, material lists, task sequencing, equipment records, and maintenance documentation within work management systems.
* Review historical work order information, failure history, equipment records, and maintenance feedback to improve future job plans.
* Identify planning deficiencies, material gaps, unclear scopes, execution risks, and documentation issues prior to work being scheduled.
* Update job plans based on technician feedback, lessons learned, recurring work history, reliability input, and changes to equipment or maintenance strategies.
* Ensure work orders are planned to the appropriate level of detail before moving to scheduling or execution.
