As the Water Quality Crew Leader, you will: develop and maintain a database and records relating to water quality including spreadsheets, files, maps and other to record dates, locations, test results, etc. Perform inspections and investigations of water distribution system; inspect for illegal system connections. Inspect and flush water mains to ensure water quality throughout the distribution system. Maintain water quality by obtaining samples from various sites and participating in special projects such as water sampling for unique situations.

Complete monthly flushing of dead-end mains and maintain flushing reports for unaccounted water and fire hydrant flushing.

The City of Celina operates on a 4-day work week.

What you'll bring:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Four (4) years' progressively responsible related experience in water distribution system inspections and water sample collections.
  • Must possess a TCEQ Class C Water License.
  • Must possess TCEQ Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester License (BPAT) or ability to obtain within 1 year of hire date.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background investigation and MVR check.
  • Must possess valid class C driver's license.
