  • Provide strategic oversight of daily maintenance activities and ensure resources are effectively prioritized to support production requirements.
  • Support critical equipment failures while ensuring permanent corrective actions are identified and implemented.
  • Develop workforce capability through technical training, employee development, cross‑training, and succession planning.
  • Develop and manage the annual maintenance operating budget and support capital planning with Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Monitor labor, contractor, repair, utility, and spare‑parts costs and identify opportunities to improve cost effectiveness.
  • Lead or support equipment installation, commissioning, startup, upgrades, and maintenance‑related capital projects.
  • Ensure new and existing equipment meets expectations for safety, maintainability, and reliability.
  • Oversee facility infrastructure, including electrical distribution, compressed air, cranes, HVAC, utilities, building systems, and grounds.
  • Build strong working relationships with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Environmental Health & Safety, Purchasing, Finance, and Human Resources.
  • Ensure maintenance activities comply with applicable safety and regulatory requirements, including LOTO, electrical safety, confined space, hot work, contractor safety, OSHA, NFPA, and EPA requirements.
  • Communicate maintenance performance, equipment risks, resource needs, and improvement opportunities to plant leadership.

What We’re Looking For

  • Demonstrated success building or improving preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance programs.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, controls, machining, welding, and facility systems.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing environments that include CNC machining, welding, assembly, paint systems, and related production equipment.
  • Experience managing maintenance budgets, contractors, and capital improvement projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement
