Day Shift Plant Maintenance Lead

Heidelberg Materials, as a key part of the global Heidelberg Cement Group and a leading supplier in North America, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Day Shift Plant Maintenance Lead for our building materials production facility. This role is crucial for ensuring optimal performance and reliability of plant operations through effective maintenance and management of our equipment and infrastructure. The successful candidate will be instrumental in upholding the standards of safety, efficiency, and quality that our company is known for.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure continuous production operations.
• Supervise and direct a team of technicians and maintenance personnel, scheduling work shifts and rotations.
• Perform routine checks and initiate preventive maintenance tasks to mitigate machinery downtime.
• Collaborate with other department leads to align maintenance practices with overall plant operations.
• Manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies to ensure availability.
• Uphold and enforce stringent safety protocols and environmental standards.
• Prepare and review maintenance reports and performance metrics for senior management.
• Lead training sessions for maintenance staff on new equipment and safety procedures.
