Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily maintenance activities at our manufacturing facility. In this safety-focused role, you will plan, prioritize, and oversee mechanical and electrical repairs, preventive and predictive maintenance, and equipment inspections to maximize plant reliability. You will supervise and develop a crew of maintenance technicians, coordinate contractors, manage parts and maintenance records, and support root-cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with proven leadership, communication, and a commitment to safety and sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise maintenance technicians in a manufacturing plant
- Plan, schedule, and prioritize preventive and corrective maintenance
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment issues
- Ensure strict adherence to safety policies and procedures
- Coordinate and oversee outside contractors as needed
- Manage spare parts, tools, and maintenance inventory
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and CMMS data
- Support root-cause analysis and reliability improvements
- Train and develop team members' technical and safety skills
- Collaborate with operations to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance
