Job Description:Entegris is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician II for our Decatur, TX facility. In this role, you will be responsible for providing advancedCNCmaintenance services to support the production goals of the company. With the need to control machine down time,a Maintenance Technician will be able to handle hands on repair and coordinate with vendors to achievemaximummachinereliability
What You'll Do:- Work on equipment installation, relocation,upgrades,and repairs.
- Serviceseveraltypesand brandsof CNC'sincluding:
EDM, Wire saw, laser engraving,robot loaders,machine tools (Mazak,Gardner, GF+,Chevalier,Takamaz). - Self-diagnose highly technical
Machine Tool problems andleadrepairsto completion. - Runthe Renishaw Ball bar to measureaxisalignment andpreciselycalculate the needed mechanical and electrical adjustmentstoset the machinetowithin microns.
- ProgramPLCladder logicandkeeper bitsto diagnose and repair
Fanuc, and Mazatrolmachinery. - Establish communication protocols for drip feed programming parameters, andPMCbackups.
- Teachand repair:
Yaskawa,Fanuc Robotics,and other automated gantry machine loaders. - Troubleshoot, electrical components such as contractors, switches, relays, and controllers.
- Leadfacility capital projects, and comprehensive FMEA'sto help improve the manufacturing process.
- Must be able to schedule andcoordinatewithOEM expertsto complete PM's andrepairson time as needed.
- Operate Lathe and Mill for custom fabrication.
Work with operators to improve day-to-day machine operations and update documents if needed. - Order parts andtrackmaterials list to complete upcoming projects.
- Prepare Metrics for maintenance cost, and machine downtime.
- Be exposed to outdoor working conditions, and dusty or dirty environments, orevenclean rooms.
- Take part inafter-hours"On-Call"responsibilities as part of themaintenanceteam rotation lasting 7 consecutive days at a time.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
- 1+ Years Machine Tool Maintenance background.
- Familiarity withrebuildsutilizing
Giband Way Scraping and Turciteinstallation . - Mechanical aptitude, working knowledge ofball screws, worm gears, transmissions, etc.
- Electrical aptitude, working knowledge ofsafety circuits, timers,servo's,HMIs,etc.
- Preferred knowledge in (Fadal, Haas,Mitsubishi, Hardinge, Okamoto and Chevalier).
- Diverse maintenance background including servicing:blowers, vacuum pumps, augers, gas furnaces, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Retrofit, upgrade, and design hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Astute attention to detail tohelpdrive Safety and Quality.
- Able to climb stairs and ladders, and safely lift 50lbs.
- Ability to perform visual checks and handle materials responsibly while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) meetingNFPA 70
Erequirements. - Experienced operator of Engine hoists, Cranes, Forklifts,Scissor Lifts,Articulated Booms, and Front End loaders.
- Utilize personal tools forprecision alignments including concentric shafts.
- Weldingto createnew physical structuresor modificationsforequipment.
- Meticulouslydocumentationusing Microsoft products to capture and improve SOP's, inventory management, OEE, machine tool history, expenditures, and MTBF.
- Some Flexibility in working schedule due to projects, breakdown situations,etc.
- Candidate must have the capacity tocomply withthe federally mandated requirements of U.S. export control laws.
