Facilities Technician - ENG Primary Care/Clinic

Description:

Education Requirements: Graduate high school or GED equivalent.

Experience: Must be able to demonstrate a good mechanical aptitude with basic knowledge of trouble-shooting. Applicant must be teachable and trainable with good people skills.

Required Skills: One year or more in general maintenance. Will assist with electrical, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, refrigeration, minor carpentry on a preventative basis. Must demonstrate effective communication and good inter-personal skills.

Physical Demands: Good physical and mental dexterity, able to perform under delegation style management under moderately stressful conditions,ability to handle stressful situations using good judgment. Approved valid driving license, able to climb ladders, lift at least 50 pounds.

Facilities Management Manager

Facilities Technician - Engineering Maintains building automated controls (including thermostats) and equipment in optimum operating condition and conducts routine operational assessments. Maintains an effective water treatment and testing program. Effectively monitors and maintains steam or hot water piping and support systems. Maintains steam and/or hot water heaters and/or boiler(s) in "safe to operate" condition. Ensures vital services are restored quickly and safely due to a loss of power.

Maintains exhaust fans in optimum operating condition.
