Job Summary And Qualifications
  • You will supervise programs to maintain buildings, grounds and equipment in accordance with regulations and administrative guidelines; maintain the buildings in livable and working condition relative to heat, light, power, air conditioning and other broad, environmental factors; direct the repair of the hospital’s physical plant and its contents; administer a preventive maintenance program to facilitate uninterrupted service to patients, and assure safe conditions of employment for staff members
  • You will plan, organize, direct, and evaluate performance which includes maintenance, construction, renovation, plant operations and the maintenance and repair of mechanical, heating, ventilating, water and refrigeration equipment and systems
  • You will participate in the long- and short-term facilities planning and capital budget activities for hospital projects; review and assess the impact of proposed modifications, additions to facilitate grounds and/or systems; recommend appropriate plant and actions, and assist with preparing an annual, departmental budget, addressing capital equipment, personnel, inventory, and supplies of other departmental costs
