Express is looking for a reliable Janitor/Housekeeper for one of our great Tifton clients

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The chosen candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly facility environment. This Janitor/Housekeeper role involves routine commercial cleaning
, light maintenance, and ensuring all areas meet health, sanitation, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and wax floors
• Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly
• Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
• Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report repairs or supply needs
• Perform minor maintenance tasks (e.g., changing light bulbs)
• Follow safety guidelines and properly use cleaning chemicals
• Report any safety hazards, damages, or security concerns

Schedule: Monday-Friday 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Qualifications:

• Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or cleaning experience is a plus
• Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment (buffers, vacuums, floor machines, etc.)
• Physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive tasks
• Strong attention to detail, dependability, and time management skills

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
• Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements
• Comfortable working in both quiet and high-traffic environments
