Proposed Schedule Includes- 6:00am - 2:30pm shifts
- Some weekends (additional $2.00/hour)

Building Cleaning Worker ITo perform independent cleaning, custodial or janitorial duties associated with the care, cleaning, and maintenance of multiple buildings/facilities for the State of New Hampshire Veterans Home; may include assignment to multiple units, areas, locations.
Building Cleaning Worker IITo serve as a team or crew lead, and/or shift point person and to independently provide a full range of cleaning, custodial or janitorial duties associated with the care, cleaning, and maintenance of one or multiple state facilities, buildings, grounds, or institutions; may include assignment to multiple units, areas, locations, or districts.

- Knowledge of the methods and practices of cleaning services in a large complex, health facility, or building
- Knowledge of the principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Knowledge of quality standards for health, environment and safety
- Ability to read and write and to prepare both written and oral reports
- Ability to listen and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
- Ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules (e.g., patterns of numbers, letters, words, pictures, mathematical operations)
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong
- Must be willing to maintain appearance appropriate to assigned duties and responsibilities as determined by the agency appointing authority
