How you will make an Impact (Job Summary)

Responsible for coordination of all outgoing shipments, creating appropriate shipping documentation, maintaining associated records, and coordinating with customer service/sales teams.

What you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)

While each day brings new opportunities at SPX, your core responsibilities will be:

Follow safe work practices and procedures, and ensure a "safety first" culture in every task undertaken.

Ensure daily goals are met

Obtain shipping quotes

Coordinate all outgoing shipments

Coordinate international shipments

Package outgoing shipments

Invoice customers

Assist with unloading of delivery trucks as needed

Responsible for inventory of shipping materials

Maintain clean, tidy and safe work place.

Abide by company and EHS regulations/policies.

Advise manager on implementing changes.

Advises manager of risks or potential hazards as required.

Implement continuous improvement processes.

Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to at all times to ensure the security and confidentiality of company information.

Co-operate with other staff, supervisors and managers.

Perform any other duties as reasonably directed.

What we are looking for (Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education)

We each bring something to the table, and we are looking for someone who has:

Required Experience

International Shipping Experience including knowledge of Incoterms

Minimum of 2 or more years' experience in warehouse setting
Customer Service Experience

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
SAP experience
Forklift experience

Mechanical aptitude with attention to detail

Education & Certifications

High School diploma

Travel & Working Environment

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to lift 50lbs
