SD/WH Semi Drive and Warehouse Associate
Under the direction of the Warehouse General Manager, the Warehouse Associate plays a key role in efficiently loading and unloading merchandise while maintaining a safe and organized environment. This role requires operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, stock pickers, and pallet jacks to move inventory efficiently. This position includes a structured development track, with training for supervisory responsibilities, including key holder duties and assisting with opening and closing the warehouse.
Responsibilities- Load and unload merchandise safely and efficiently.
- Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, stock pickers, pallet jacks) following safety protocols.
- Receive, sort, and store stock to optimize space and organization.
- Pick and prepare orders to meet shipping deadlines.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle checks.
- Provide outstanding customer service during customer pick-ups, ensuring order accuracy and assistance with loading merchandise.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Communicate customer concerns and requests to management in a timely manner.
- Support opening and closing procedures and key holder duties as part of development track.
- Properly handle chemicals following company and DOT safety procedures where applicable.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1–3 years of warehouse experience (factory/plant experience a plus).
- Ability to pass forklift and equipment certification.
- Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality as scheduled.
- Provide outstanding customer service during customer interactions.
- Warehouse setting with occasional outdoor exposure.
- Frequent standing, bending, lifting up to 100 lbs, and climbing.
- Comfortable working at heights up to 34 feet when using lift equipment.
- Potential exposure to chemicals related to pool and spa products.
- Fast-paced pick/pack environment with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Primarily day or evening shifts, with some weekends and holidays as needed.
