Reservationist

Transdev is hiring a Reservationist to support safe, reliable public transportation services. In this role, you will handle high-volume calls to book, modify, and cancel reservations for bus, shuttle, and paratransit riders, ensuring accurate data entry and on-time service. You'll provide clear information on routes, schedules, and eligibility, while documenting all trips in reservation systems. Working closely with dispatch and operations teams, you'll help coordinate special accommodations, uphold safety and ADA standards, and deliver courteous, community-focused customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer and manage high-volume reservation calls for public transportation services
• Accurately schedule, modify, and cancel passenger trips using dispatch/reservation software
• Verify rider eligibility, fares, and service rules for fixed-route and paratransit services
• Provide clear, courteous information on routes, schedules, and mobility options
• Confirm trip details and communicate special accommodation needs to operations teams
• Document all reservations, customer interactions, and service issues in the system
• Collaborate with dispatchers and drivers to optimize schedules and on-time performance
• Follow safety, privacy, and ADA-related procedures and guidelines
• Handle customer concerns and escalate service issues when necessary
• Meet performance metrics for call quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction
