Worksite: Hybrid onsite/remote (primarily daytime schedule)

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 7+ years of professional experience designing and developing electronic hardware
- Strong hands‑on background in analog circuit design
- Proven experience creating hardware for microcontroller‑based systems
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional engineering teams and technical staff
- Proficiency using standard productivity tools (e.g., Word, Excel, Project)
- Demonstrated experience designing both analog and digital components such as drivers, power systems, or battery‑based circuitry
Plusses
- Advanced engineering degree (Master’s or higher)
- Experience performing detailed electrical stress testing
- Familiarity with building test fixtures or validation tools for production teams
- Prior involvement in supporting full product lifecycle from concept through manufacturing
This role centers on leading the electrical design effort for new and existing products from initial concept through production release. Working alongside engineers, product management, and lab personnel, this individual will turn design ideas into functioning prototypes, refine them through testing, and support their transition into manufacturing. The engineer will spend their days researching design approaches, evaluating circuit performance, validating concepts, and ensuring each product meets reliability, quality, and customer‑focused requirements.
This is a highly collaborative position that blends innovation, problem‑solving, hands‑on engineering, and partnership with suppliers and production teams.
Responsibilities
- Design system‑level and circuit‑level solutions for new electronic products
- Create schematics, develop prototypes, and conduct iterative design evaluations
- Plan and execute test strategies for hardware and software validation
- Build and carry out electrical stress tests to confirm reliability and robustness
- Develop test fixtures and tools that support production‑level board or system verification
- Collaborate with sourcing and vendor partners to define component and technical requirements
- Guide designs through the manufacturing release process to ensure smooth product launch
