Mechanical Engineer

LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing organization, and they are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer – Product Design and Manufacturing to join their team. This opportunity is ideal for an engineer who thrives at the intersection of design engineering and manufacturing, and who wants to make a visible impact on real, manufactured products. This is a full-time, on-site role with a stable, growth-oriented organization that values collaboration, engineering rigor, and continuous improvement.

• Hands-on engineering role with direct influence on product design and manufacturability.
• High visibility across engineering, operations, and production teams.
• Opportunity to work on complex mechanical systems from initial design through release.
• Collaborative environment where engineers are encouraged to solve problems, not just design parts.

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using Solid Works.
• Produce detailed 3D models, manufacturing drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Create and maintain accurate Bills of Material (BOMs) within the ERP system.
• Support concept development and proposal-level design efforts.

• Partner closely with production and operations teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective.
• Develop and refine production processes for new and existing products.
• Participate in manufacturing reviews to resolve assembly challenges and implement design improvements.

• Work with suppliers and external partners to source components and evaluate cost options.
• Support internal stakeholders across engineering, operations, and commercial teams.
• Assist with cost estimation and project timelines for new product initiatives.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Hands-on manufacturing engineering experience, including exposure to production and process development.
• Strong understanding of mechanical drawings, tolerancing, and BOM structures.
• Ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience working with JobBOSS or similar ERP systems.
• Background in antenna products, RF-related hardware, or electromechanical systems.
• Exposure to vendor sourcing and component quoting.

Compensation Range: $80,000 - $90,000
