About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager / Account Executive who thrives in the commercial and industrial mechanical space — someone who knows ductwork and piping systems, leads clients with confidence, and drives projects like they’re running their own business.

This isn’t a paper‑pusher role. You’ll have full responsibility for project execution, client relationships, and financial outcomes across a range of technically complex HVAC and piping jobs. You’ll collaborate closely with our in-house teams (sheet metal, pipe fitting, service, test & balance) to deliver results the Roberts way —

What You’ll Own Project & Financial Management
  • Full-cycle management of HVAC and mechanical piping projects from handoff to closeout
  • Own the P&L: manage cost reports, billings, change orders, collections, and buyouts
  • Forecast labor and material needs; control costs without sacrificing quality
  • Execute contract scope while identifying and capitalizing on margin opportunities
Client & Team Leadership
  • Be the face of Roberts HVAC to GCs, owners, facility managers, and engineers
  • Build and maintain lasting client relationships through communication, performance, and accountability
  • Coordinate with field supervisors, foremen, and in‑house trades to deliver on schedule
  • Collaborate with estimators, CAD/BIM, and project coordinators for smooth execution
Execution & Risk Management
  • Manage submittals, RFIs, procurement, schedule updates, and equipment deliveries
  • Navigate union labor (Local 597, 73, etc.) and understand jurisdictional nuances
  • Anticipate problems and act decisively to protect project profitability and client satisfaction
What You Bring
  • 5+ years of commercial/industrial HVAC and mechanical piping project experience
  • Strong knowledge of ductwork, hydronic, steam, process piping, and/or chilled water systems
  • Confident managing multiple projects and client accounts simultaneously
  • Solid understanding of construction contracts, cost control, billing, and scheduling
  • Able to read specs and mechanical drawings
    , coordinate trades, and push jobs forward
  • Professional, polished communicator — trusted by clients, respected by the field
  • Familiar with MS Project, Bluebeam, Excel, and ERP tools (we’ll train on ours)

Compensation Base Salary

$120,000–$150,000 (based on experience)
