Quality Engineer
LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Quality Engineer to ensure that manufacturing processes meet customer specifications and quality standards. This role requires at least 5 years of manufacturing experience and excellent problem-solving skills. This direct hire role is in Tinley Park, IL and the anticipated salary is between $75,000-$85,000 per year.
Responsibilities:- Ensure all manufacturing processes meet customer specifications and quality standards
- Analyze statistical data and perform quality cost analysis
- Manage customer complaints and act as liaison between the customer and Manufacturing/Quality teams to resolve problems
- Assist with quality audits to improve production methods
- Development and implement improvements to testing methods and equipment
- Some travel required
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Product and process failure analysis experience required
- Fastner manufacturing knowledge preferred
