Transdev in Tinley Park, IL is hiring a Scheduler to intercept customer calls and schedule transportation. We are seeking friendly, customer service-oriented people who are dedicated to safety.

• Competitive compensation package of minimum $21.15/hour - Maximum $25.85/hour
• Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks
• Sick days: 5 days
• Holidays: 10 days; 8 standard and 2 floating

• Responsible for the distribution of trips to multiple providers
• Independently build, optimize and maintain ADA-compliant paratransit schedules using Trapeze.
• Effectively balance customer service, operational efficiency, and resource constraints
• Accurately manage subscription, demand and same-day trips
• Coordinate seamlessly with dispatch and reservations
• Ensure ongoing compliance with ADA, FTA, and Pace-defined service quality, productivity, and performance standards.
• Other duties as required.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years reservationist or dispatch experience
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint programs
• Knowledge of Trapeze Software required
• Knowledge of Genesys phone systems is a plus
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

The essential functions of this position require the ability to:

• Sit for extended periods (up to 6-8 hours per day)
• Push and pull objects up to 25 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
