The Therapist provides trauma-informed individual and group counseling to adult survivors and child witnesses of domestic violence, in both shelter and offsite settings. This role is part of a multidisciplinary team focused on comprehensive support, including prevention, assessment, advocacy, referral, and ongoing therapeutic services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Client Services- Conduct psychosocial assessments for adults and children affected by domestic violence.
- Develop and regularly update individualized service plans and safety plans.
- Provide weekly individual, family, and group counseling using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches.
- Facilitate psycho educational and therapeutic support groups.
- Deliver domestic violence education to clients.
- Offer crisis intervention as needed & collaborate with other professionals as needed.
- Complete and submit accurate documentation within required time frames.
- Maintain compliance with CCSS policies, funder guidelines, and licensing standards.
- Update client master lists and ensure files meet internal and external audit standards.
- Participate in staff meetings,, aftercare services and PAIP victim outreach as assigned.
- Contribute to CCSS’s 40-hour domestic violence training program when needed.
- MSW-Social Work / MA/MS Counseling
- Clinical Psych or related field
- LSW/LCSW eligible / LPC/LCPC Eligible
- Trauma-Informed Therapy / DV/IVP advocacy/therapy
