Job Overview

Seasonal Part‑Time EMA Member (May‑August, part‑time) responsible for providing traffic control for major concert events at the Credit Union Amphitheatre and assisting with special events, first aid, shelter operations, emergency planning, donation management, and other duties during disasters or major incidents. Non‑sworn position with no law‑enforcement authority.

• Provide traffic control for 6 concerts per month (≈50 hours/month) or 18 concerts per season (≈150 hours/season).
• Assist with parades, festivals, street fairs, and other special events.
• Perform first aid, shelter operations, and emergency planning as required.
• Manage donations and other duties during a disaster or major incident.
• Operate Village vehicles safely in all weather conditions.
• Work under stressful situations, communicate calmly with the public, and use public safety radio network.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lb.
• CPR certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to handle public interactions tactfully.
• Prior emergency‑management experience preferred.

Pay: $18.00 per hour. Hours vary with scheduled events; typically 1–2 regular evening meetings per month and training. Available for day, afternoon, and evening shifts.
