HVAC Service Technician (Day Shift) – Tinley Park, IL
Express Employment Professionals is hiring an experienced HVAC service technician for a growing company in Tinley Park, IL. This is a full-time, day shift opportunity with immediate hire and a bonus program available.
Key responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair residential and light commercial HVAC equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance on furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers and indoor air quality systems
- Identify issues and recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions
- Install replacement parts and complete repairs efficiently and accurately
- Strong troubleshooting diagnostic skills
- Follow all safety procedures and local codes
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company procedures
- Complete service tickets and documentation accurately
- Communicate findings and repair options clearly with customers and team members
- Maintain tools, and equipment
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance and company vehicle
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
Qualifications:
- 3–4 years of HVAC service experience required
- Previous experience working for an HVAC company preferred
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and manage daily service calls
- Experience with residential and light commercial systems preferred
Work schedule:
- Day shift position (hours may vary based on service needs)
- Occasional overtime may be required
