Custodian, Courtyard at Kennedy

The opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a part-time Custodian to join our team at the Courtyard at Kennedy in Titusville, Florida.

As a Custodian, you will be responsible for performing custodial duties such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, restocking paper and soap supplies, and keeping the property neat, clean, and free from clutter.

USD 15.50 per hour

• Sweep and clean facilities, including bathrooms, carpets, walls, windows, break rooms, offices, and all other duties as assigned.
• Stock closets and replenish paper products in the restrooms.
• Respond to guest inquiries, providing accurate, courteous information.
• Follow safety and environmental business practices and keep the work area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Assist with guest requests and deliveries.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 6 months' experience in custodial and related services preferred.
• Must be able to read, comprehend, and follow written instructions.
• No high school diploma or GED required.

• This position requires the ability to lift to 40+ pounds and reach above head level.
• May be required to work twelve to fifty feet (or more) above the ground on ladders or high lift/scissor lifts.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work inside and outside with exposure to heat, dirt, noise, fumes, wetness, paint, and solvents.
