The Tiverton School Department is seeking dependable, experienced individuals to join our on-call seasonal snow removal team.

Seasonal operators are responsible for clearing school parking lots, driveways, sidewalks, and other district property using Tiverton School Department equipment.

Temporary, on-call seasonal employment (November-April)

Non-benefited position

Hours vary based on weather conditions and may include overnight, early morning, weekends, and holidays

Compensation:
Hourly rate based on qualifications and experience

• Operate district-owned plow truck
• Plow and salt parking lots at school facilities
• Work safely in adverse weather conditions
• Respond to snow events with short notice as directed by the Facilities Department

• Valid Rhode Island driver's license
• Experience operating snow removal machinery
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in winter conditions
• Reliable transportation and availability during snow events
• Successful completion of required background check and pre-employment requirements
