Responsible for maintaining and inspecting property, buildings, equipment, utilities, furnishings, and grounds.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Maintain and inspect plumbing, property, buildings, furniture, furnishings, etc.; work with outside cleaning and service representatives in checking, maintaining, and repairing building equipment and coordinating needs.
- Transport supplies to other offices that the courier cannot; ensure offices have rock salt and remove light snow periodically in winter months.
- Perform maintenance on equipment, furniture, buildings, and property; possess knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and plastering.
- Perform minor building and furniture modifications or repairs involving carpentry, painting, wiring, and other general maintenance of physical locations.
- Help dispose of old equipment to the dumpster or charities periodically; move and set up furniture within offices, conference/group rooms, and other work areas.
- Regularly inspect buildings and provide condition assessments of building, parking lots, landscaping needs, and sprinkler systems.
- Check and replace light bulbs; notify management of outside and parking lot lighting; work with contracted vendors.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for troubleshooting and repair support.
- Spread subject to changing inside and/or outside temperatures which may include extreme heat (above 100°F) or extreme cold (below 32°F).
- Work both inside and outside; subject to weather.
- Must work under hazardous conditions including high places, chemical exposures, electrical current, moving machinery, exposure to blood, etc.
- Frequent local travel and out-of-town travel; this position is not a remote work position.
- Must have reliable transportation, insurance, and driver’s license, and ability to travel to and from multiple locations.
- Technical skills including proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office and ticketing systems.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Required to stand, walk, push, pull, lift, lower, bend, or kneel on a regular basis.
- Access to company cell phone to be contacted for emergency facilities maintenance needs.
- Able to operate drills, electrical tools, welder, meters, timers, hand tools, shovel, spread salt and all related machinery.

Qualifications EducationHigh School or better.
Experience 1-3 yearsKnowledge of janitorial equipment and maintenance procedures.
