Housekeeping Supervisor

Overview

Otterbein has an employment opportunity for a Full Time Housekeeping Supervisor
. Serves as a working supervisor with responsibilities for cleaning of various areas as needed along with providing supervisory oversight to all housekeeping partners to ensure work assignments are complete and work output meets or exceeds facility standards. In addition, covers for staff vacations or absences as necessary.

Monday through Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm

• Maintain Residents Rights and Confidentiality.
• Interact positively with the residents, family members, visitors, contractors, and other partners.
• Complete maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Submit pest control requests in a timely manner to the appropriate person.
• Make daily rounds.
• Coordinate the scheduling of carpet and furniture shampooing.
• Take charge of special projects.
• Assist with moves, set ups, minor maintenance repairs, construction clean up, emergency clean up, and schedule daily cleaning as needed.
• Follows Universal precautions and Infection Control techniques.
• Ensures that a clean and safe environment is maintained.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Education:
  
  High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience:
  
  Some supervisory experience preferred. Minimum two years’ experience working in housekeeping.
