Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with event set up, tear down, and changeover under moderate supervision.
- This position performs and delivers all aspects of show and event service at the highest level to all clients and events, including waste collection and removal, monitoring and maintaining sanitary restrooms, and all dressing rooms.
- Perform cleaning and housekeeping projects throughout the facility, including carpet extraction, floor stripping and sealing, waste removal, window cleaning, painting, and other housekeeping as needed.
- Responsible for the cleaning, upkeep, and minor maintenance of the facility and related support areas. Reports all major maintenance items and safety concerns to management.
- Responsible for the cleaning, minor maintenance, and proper storage of all event equipment and furniture, including audio/visual equipment and motorized equipment.
- Operate motorized equipment in the performance of assigned duties (e.g., floor scrubber, snow removal equipment, lawnmower).
- Assist with snow removal and other outdoor grounds maintenance projects as directed.
- Manage the HVAC system, security system, and other operations and maintenance systems within the building.
- Work closely with clients and the public, representing the facility in communicating building policies with clients regarding set‑up, move in/out, and overall facility policies.

- This classification will perform other event‑related duties as needed, directed, or required.
Team Member should possess a valid Ohio driver’s license.
Physical DemandsThis position requires good vision, hearing, and agility. Long periods of standing, walking, lifting, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and crouching on concrete, staircases, etc., including slippery and uneven surfaces. Lifting and moving up to 75 lbs. over a period of time. Work in both indoor and outdoor settings and may be subject to adverse conditions.
Work EnvironmentThe work of this class involves evening, weekend, and holiday work with short turnaround deadlines. Mandatory overtime as needed. Team Member may be asked to work outdoors as well as indoors on the property. Must be well groomed and wear full uniform in accordance with the policy and procedure manual.
Reasoning AbilityMust have the ability to work from CAD drawings/blueprints, other types of working drawings, and event checklists.
