Facilities Assistant
Harbor is seeking a Facilities Assistant to join the team in Toledo! This role supports facility operations through routine maintenance, basic repairs, and general upkeep. This position plays a key role in maintaining safe, clean, and functional environments.
Position is full-time. 40 hours per week.
Education :
- HS Diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience :
- Must have demonstrated the ability to carry out ongoing facility upkeep tasks as assigned.
- Must be capable of inside and outside painting and grounds keeping.
- Must be able to move and carry heavy objects including furniture and equipment. Must be dependable, punctual and able to follow directions as assigned.
- Must be flexible in scheduling work hours.
- Must remain up to date on annual Defensive Driving for 15-Passenger Vans training requirement.
Licensure and
Certifications:
- Must have a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and show proof of personal auto insurance policy to be deemed insurable with Harbor's vehicle insurance carrier.
Preferred Qualifications :
- General maintenance experience of 1-3 years.
