Toledo Tool & Die is adding a Maintenance Manager to our team to support our continued growth.
This is a full-time position based at our Bennett Road facility in Toledo, Ohio. We offer competitive wages, growth opportunities, and a clean, safe work environment.
Compensation:
The targeted salary range for this position is $125,000 - $140,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. This position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus of up to 5% of base salary, based on performance.
Hours are typically:
Monday through Friday. Schedule may vary depending on plant operational needs, so flexibility is required. This may include long days, occasional evenings and weekends. This role supports a multi-shift operation and may require off-shift or weekend breakdown response. This position may also require travel to meetings, conferences, workshops, or other facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day maintenance operations across all shifts, directing shift leads and technicians to sustain uptime on production equipment.
- Provide coaching, development, and performance management for maintenance technicians, and grow capability through cross-training and a skills-tier matrix.
- Develop and implement structured technical training and cross-training programs for Maintenance, Robotic, Weld, and Manufacturing Engineering Technicians, with a focus on robotics, automation, controls, troubleshooting, and equipment reliability.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to support technician development across maintenance, robotic welding, automation, and controls disciplines.
- Foster a positive, accountable team environment that encourages teamwork, continuous learning, and ownership.
- Develop, execute, and continuously improve preventive (PM) and predictive (PdM) maintenance programs for production, conveyance, and facility equipment.
- Lead rapid response and structured troubleshooting of complex equipment faults, guiding technicians in root-cause analysis and corrective action.
- Partner with Engineering on equipment upgrades that improve reliability and reduce downtime.
- Partner with the MRO crib, which manages spare-parts inventory, to keep critical spares and consumables on hand, and manage external suppliers and service contractors.
- Support new-equipment installation, line moves, and capital projects.
- Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement of automated manufacturing systems, including industrial robots, robotic welding equipment, PLC-controlled equipment, controls, conveyors, and related automation.
- Own and drive maintenance KPIs, including downtime, PM completion rate, mean time to repair (MTTR), mean time between failure (MTBF), and spare-parts usage, and act on trends surfaced by real-time production/downtime tracking.
- Prioritize and assign work orders, ensuring timely completion and accurate documentation in the CMMS system.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, PM logs, downtime documentation, and equipment histories, and develop maintenance standard work and technician work instructions.
- Own the maintenance department budget, including equipment repairs, spare parts, and contracted services.
- Lead the Bennett maintenance organization across all production shifts, including maintenance shift leads and maintenance technicians.
- Own scheduling, staffing, coaching, development, cross-training, and performance management for the maintenance team, and ensure maintenance coverage for multi-shift operations, including off-shift and weekend breakdown response.
