Janitor, Cleaning Services
This position is 4, ten hour shifts, Mon to Fri at Tooele Army Depot.

Primary DutiesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. These duties and responsibilities will be rated on the Annual Performance Review.
- Perform janitorial duties at Tooele Army Depot on daily basis per schedule, including cleaning restrooms, dusting, performing floor work, mopping, and collecting trash.
- Maintain janitorial storage room in a clean, safe, and orderly fashion.
- Ensure all supplies are stored and used in sequence. Order replacement supplies as needed.
- May assist with driving for vehicle drops for maintenance, supplies, or personnel needing to be transported to a site.
- May drive a PARC van to transport other workers to cleaning sites
- Perform other related responsibilities as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Certification(s)
- High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) preferred.
- No prior work experience required.
- Valid driver’s license and/or access to reliable transportation to perform work-related travel. Eligbile drivers must have a good motor vehicle record (MVR) (if assigned to drive).
- Ability to recognize and/or read limited number of two-and three-syllable words.
- Ability to understand/carry out one or two step instructions and follow visual cues.
- Ability to work in a team setting or independently in the absence of supervision.
- Ability to stay on task and complete assigned duties within a scheduled time frame.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk and stand; bend and stoop; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to kneel and sit. The employee may regularly lift or move products and supplies, up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
WorkEnvironment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
