Deskside Support Installation Technician

Topeka, KS area
Pay:
Hourly + Mileage
Schedule:
Monday–Friday (Daytime hours)
- Install and integrate laptops, printers, scanners, workstations, routers, and switches
- Perform basic troubleshooting and problem resolution during installations
- Educate end users on new systems and equipment
- Clean up materials and prepare legacy devices for pickup and shipment
- Provide professional, customer‑focused support at all locations
- Training will be provided
- IT support, hardware installation, or technical training experience preferred but not required
- Strong trainability with the ability to quickly learn and work within new systems and processes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service mindset
- Comfortable traveling locally to install sites
- Must have reliable personal transportation
- Commitment to seeing the project through its full duration
Hourly pay plus mileage reimbursement. Opportunities for permanent employment upon successful completion.
