Full‑Time Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for carrying out daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance schedules, completing urgent work order repairs as needed, coordinating services with corresponding departments to perform routine cleaning and maintenance issues, and handling resident and family requests. The role includes ensuring the facility remains presentable and sanitary, following established safety precautions, and performing routine maintenance and repair of the facility and equipment, including plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical tasks as directed in accordance with established procedures.

• Must demonstrate care for others and the ability to communicate with staff and residents in a professional, compassionate manner.
• Be detail‑oriented to maintain a clean, presentable facility.
• Have working knowledge of housekeeping and maintenance functions.
• Must have experience repairing drywall, paint, stain, and refinishing work.
• Ensure facilities and equipment are properly maintained for resident comfort and convenience.
• Follow safety precautions when performing tasks and using equipment and supplies.
