Overview
As a certified Safelite Repair Specialist I, you will complete vehicle glass repairs using industry‑leading technology and uphold the Safelite Spirit.
Responsibilities- Learn to repair vehicle glass (classroom and hands‑on) with a focus on the Safelite Way of Fitting under guidance of experienced technicians.
- Repair chips, cracks and other glass issues on customer vehicles.
- Manage work orders, customer documentation and communication through Safelite handheld Mobile Resource Management technology.
- Promote and sell Safelite promotional items to customers.
- Clean customer vehicle during wait/idle time and perform housekeeping tasks in company vehicle and shop.
- Operate company and customer vehicles, company‑issued tools and chemicals safely.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all policies and standards.
- Competitive weekly base pay starting at $16.75/hour, Monday thru Saturday.

- High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent (preferred).
- Valid state‑issued driver’s license and any additional licenses required by law.
- On‑the‑job training/completion of Safelite Safe Tech™ certification (required).
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.; assist in lifting windshields up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, work in tight spaces, bend and twist body.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle in compliance with laws; monitored via camera/video surveillance.
- Professionalism and passion for customer service; willingness to handle pressure.
- Ability to work outdoors and with chemicals as required.
- Ability to read, write, and interpret English and technical directions.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Maintain professional appearance and PPE policies.
- Ability to work scheduled days with flexibility.
- Problem‑solving skills; independent and collaborative troubleshooting.
- Willingness to maintain stable performance under pressure.
The position involves driving duties monitored through cameras, GPS, and tracking technologies to ensure safety and compliance. Employees may be required to perform other related duties as assigned.
