Janitor / Custodian

Our client, Janitorial Services, is seeking a Janitor / Custodian to join their team. As a Janitor, you will be part of the Facilities Department, supporting building operations and maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and time management skills, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location:

Topeka, KS Pay Range: $15

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, entryways, locker rooms, and breakrooms/cafeterias
• Sweep, mop, and maintain floors in assigned areas
• Empty trash and recycling containers
• Follow cleaning schedules and safety procedures
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment

• Ability to perform routine janitorial and cleaning duties
• Steel-toed shoes required
• No jewelry permitted while on duty
• Must wear jeans and a T-shirt as part of the dress code
• Ability to follow PPE and safety requirements

• Consistent work schedule
• Safe, structured work environment
• Provided personal protective equipment (PPE) including hairnet, earplugs, safety hat, and safety glasses
