Job Summary:

The Envelope Machine Adjusterensuresthesmoothoperationoftheproductionshiftbysettingupandoperatinglargemachinery ,performingsizechanges,organizing workflow,inspectingproductforaccuracy,completingrequiredpaperwork,andexecutingotherdutiesasassignedbythe

Envelope

Manager.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Setupandadjustmachineandequipmentforsafeandefficientoperationintheproductionprocesstomeetworkorderspecifications.
  
  Thisincludesthestart-up,operation,andadjustmenttoproperparametersinvolvingclosetolerances,maintenance,troubleshooting,andcleaningofequipment.
• Reviewsjobticketstodeterminetools,partsandmaterialsnecessaryformachinechangesand/or adjustments.
• Performsbothstandardandspecialmachineadjustmentstomeetjobspecifications.
• Troubleshoots problems,repairs/replacesdamagedandwornmachinecomponents.
• Examines,tests,andmeasuresofproductfromassignedequipment.
• Analyzesmechanicalissuesonassignedequipmentandtakescorrectiveaction.
• production.
• Minimizeswastebyensuringthatallwasteisproperlysegregated,weighed,recorded,andplacedintheproperwastecontainer.
• Providescoverageformachineoperatorsifnecessary.
• Notifiesshiftsupervisorofrecurringequipmentissuesandanycorrectionactiontaken.
• Maintainsahazard-free,cleaningmachineandworkareatoincludesweeping,removing waste,etc.
• Performs other duties as required.

Communication

Skills:

• Abilitytoreasonandperformbasicmath.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively-both verbally and in writing.

Physical Requirements:

• Minimaltravelanticipated;mayincludeautoandairtravel.
• Mustbeabletoworkunderstressfulconditions,suchasmeetingtime-sensitive deadlines.

Education&Experience

• 3–5 years of previous experience preferred.

• Maybesubjecttoextremecold,heat,andwetorhumidenvironments.
