Warehouse Sanitation - Part Time

Position Description

Ryder is hiring a Part‑time Janitorial Associate in Tracy, California. The position offers weekly pay, flexible schedule options, and a range of benefits.

Pay: $18.50 per hour and up to 30 hours per week.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One year or more of warehouse experience preferred
• May need equipment certification depending on location
• Ability to read location, date, and product codes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with peers, work groups, customers, and supervisors
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Self‑driven, flexible, and able to excel in a fast‑paced environment
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions
• Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices

Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

• Cleaning restrooms, break room, locker room, and office areas per sanitation schedule
• Cleaning exterior areas of the building, including windows, walkways, and emptying trash containers per sanitation schedule
• Sweeping and scrubbing warehouse floors and office areas per sanitation schedule
• Wiping down racks, guard rails, and walls in the warehouse and office areas per sanitation schedule
• Additional duties as assigned, overtime as needed
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and tour‑ready facility
• Assisting maintenance technicians as required, light maintenance activities such as painting
