Pay: $40,000 - $65,000+ per year with $1,000.00 Sign On Bonus

Modernistic is a family‑owned company with six locations that has served Michigan communities for over 50 years. We are rapidly growing and looking for a motivated, customer‑focused technician at our Traverse City, MI location.

Our ideal candidate enjoys meeting new people, has a knack for customer service, enjoys working in a fast‑paced, physically active environment, and has an eye for detail. If you have no prior experience in cleaning and restoration, we provide paid training so you can learn a new trade in a recession‑proof industry.

• Delight customers by providing outstanding customer service in their homes and businesses
• Work with a partner to provide quality air duct, carpet, upholstery, tile cleaning and water restoration services to residential and commercial customers
• Prep areas for service by moving furniture and following safety protocols
• Observe your Lead Technician, learning everything you can from them so you can advance to the Lead Technician position more quickly
• Educate customers on the benefits of additional services Modernistic can offer
• Stock & clean your vehicle with equipment and supplies each day

• Valid Michigan driver's license and good driving record
• Ability to pass a drug screen & background check
• Ability to move and lift 50 lbs. or more
• Exceptional communication skills
• Friendly, cooperative and positive attitude
• Dependable with reliable transportation
• IICRC & NADCA certifications are a plus, but not required
