Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
$37/hour
Pay: $36.00/hour with additional $1.15/hour for 3rd shift
What You’ll DoTroubleshoot and maintain electrical and controls systems for production and high‑speed packaging equipment
Support extruders, dryers, conveying systems, cartoners, baggers, palletizers, utilities, HVAC, chillers, and compressed air systems
Partner with Operations and Maintenance to resolve recurring issues and complete preventative maintenance
Maintain PLC backups, schematics, and electrical documentation
Modify and improve electrical and control systems in compliance with NEC standards
Assist with capital projects and equipment installations
What We’re Looking ForAbility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
Ability to read, write, and speak English at a level necessary to perform the essential functions of the job
Strong electrical troubleshooting skills; ability to read wiring diagrams
2‑year Electrical Technician degree or equivalent experience (apprenticeship, military training, or 3+ years hands‑on electrical/controls experience)
Willingness to obtain CPR certification
Preferred ExperienceFood manufacturing electrical and controls experience
OSHA 10
Experience operating forklifts or lifts
Physical RequirementsLift up to 50 lbs
Stand 8+ hours per shift
Climb ladders and work at heights up to 35 ft
Work in hot, cold, humid, and dusty environments
