Custodian​/Groundskeeper

Career Systems Development Corporation Careers seeks a Custodian/Groundskeeper to keep campus facilities and grounds clean, safe, and welcoming for students and staff. In this on-site role, you will perform daily cleaning of classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas, support event setups, and maintain lawns, walkways, and outdoor spaces. You'll follow safety and OSHA guidelines, operate custodial and grounds equipment, and report maintenance needs, directly supporting CSD's mission-driven, student-centered learning environment every day.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, safe, and orderly classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas
• Perform routine groundskeeping including mowing, trimming, raking, and debris removal
• Set up and break down rooms for classes, events, and student programs
• Inspect facilities and grounds, reporting safety hazards or maintenance needs
• Operate basic custodial and grounds equipment safely and correctly
• Restock supplies and ensure proper waste, recycling, and disposal practices
• Support a secure, student-centered campus environment aligned with CSD policies
