The Contracted Facility Operations & Custodial Specialist provides custodial and facility operational services at the GOISD Early Learning & Family Resource Center through Will Sub. This is a contracted position and is not employed directly by the Gogebic-Ontonagon Intermediate School District.
The position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, secure, organized, and operationally ready environment throughout the facility. This is an active, hands-on position requiring independent completion of routine custodial responsibilities, food-service support, delivery coordination, facility security, basic maintenance, supply inventory, seasonal exterior maintenance, and other assigned facility support functions.
The Contracted Facility Operations & Custodial Specialist supports the programs operating within the facility and is expected to maintain assigned areas in accordance with Michigan Child Care Licensing requirements and GOISD standards for the cleanliness and maintenance of its educational facilities. Regular attendance, reliability, professionalism, and independent completion of established responsibilities are essential to successful performance of this assignment.
